Heydesign.systems is an introductory resource to design systems, curated by Saurabh Yadav.
Since the inception of this resource, generic emojis were being used to represent the respective categories, but they didn’t really communicate the information that the sections intended to show.
Starting with the logo, which is a welcoming, "chonky" and expressive “hey”. The icons had to be relatable and inviting and most of all represent the categories to the tee.
